iphone making calls by itself?

I've had my iphone 5s for about 3 years now and have not had any problems with it untill recentyl. I'll get randome calls and texts from people i dont know and they will ask me why i called them. I tell them i havnt called anyone in a while but they insist that i did. i checked my phones call history to find that it has been randomly calling people without me. I just updated the software today hoping it would fix the problem. Anyone have any explanation as to why my phone is calling people unwantely?

You probably either sat on your phone and dialed them, or you had a virus.

Or maybe someone took your phone. Do you have any mischevious siblings?

no my phone stays by my side most of the time. and as afar as sitting on it, i dont put it in my back pocket or have ever sat on it. Maybe i should take it to the apple store and see wat they can do?

I'm curious - Did the call go off to a German Airport by any chance? Also, was it FaceTime? Plus do you have your Bluetooth enabled?

My dad's work mate ask me about his iPhone 5s making overseas calls by itself just the other day. Backtracked it, seems like just a glitch/exploit in the iOS with iPhone 5S and Bluetooth. Or quite possibly your iPhone number has been spoofed and the system is calling your real number back.

ps: Siri was disabled on that iPhone, so it's not that.

I also have a iPhone 6s work phone, but that has no issues.

no it didnt make any internation calls nor was it facetime. It just dialed randome numbers in my area with almost the same number as my own. I have never enabled bluetooth on my phone and i'm actually a little scared by what its doing.

Maybe it's a scam by your service provider to inflate your bill.

Use a long string and attach each end to an empty can. Best phone you'll ever have. If you need to call overseas just get a longer string. 7/10 IGN

Had that problem with a flip phone in the early 00's. It had been refurbished so I just suspected it was loaded with something from the 3rd party company in Bangladesh that refurbishes att phones for a fraction of the price. I sang them pretty songs full of my love for all nations and promptly dropped it in the lake and filed a lost phone insurance claim. Yours could be from downloading all these stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ memes that everyone uses to fit in on the bandwagon, dumb ass kids. Good luck.
