Jetpacks and Chainswords! For the Emperor!
http://store.steampowered.com/app/375230/
I would honestly like to see Warhammer 40k Spacemarine be redone into a well made and thought out action game. The current one had a good base for a game but was let down by its weak story, uninteresting level design, extremely basic cod style multiplayer and lack of variety.
<edit> apparently I was unaware that Eternal crusade exsists, I just hope it doesn't focus too much on pvp combat.
<edit 2> Now I learn about Space Hulk Deathwing. I need to keep a better lookout for games.
Space Hulk: Deathwing. As a former TT player, this is very exciting (Dark Angels 1st Company Terminators.....YES)
That's not in-line with what the reviews are saying.
Bandai Namco is a AAA publisher and Behaviour Interactive have previously worked on AAA projects.
Almost every warhammer game that has come out lately has limited exposure so not a lot of people play them or even know about them. I'm not saying thats a bad thing, but in order for a game to do really well and sustain, they need to have a great marketing campaign, a great game (obviously), and continued support. There is a reason games like Eve and WoW are still around. I want a game that can keep me coming back after several hundred hours of gameplay and still not be bored.
I'm not saying that the games that were listed are bad, because there aren't. I loved playing most of the warhammer games that are out today. I'm just saying that those games have a limited number of hours before the game because obsolete.
Lastly, every company that has made a warhammer title in the past has gone out of business because their games were not that good....something needs to change.
Disagreeing with you and pointing out flaws in your argument =/= trolling. If you don't want people disagreeing with you, start a blog that doesn't allow comments.
A wargame like Armageddon has limited hours before it becomes obsolete? Seriously?
Relic is still doing fine.
Btw Relic was sold to Sega because there were partnered with THQ..which went bankrupt.
Don't make generalized, inaccurate statements if you don't like being shown the errors in your arguments. It's not nitpicking, it's showing that your statements are outright incorrect. As said before, if you can't handle that, perhaps you should start a blog that doesn't allow for comments.
It's in Early Access, not "alpha". You are able to play and consider it good or bad. For all we know, how it is in its current state is all that we're ever going to get. Don't judge it on promises, judge it on how it is now.
You've done it a couple times now. Again, I'd suggest either doing research further into what you're talking about or stop making generalized, inaccurate statements if you don't wish to be shown that they are inaccurate. Especially when you even mention Dawn of War as one of the "great" examples of the WH40k franchise.
It appears that you do, else you wouldn't be responding in such a manner. You've taken a hostile tone at being shown the inaccuracies in your statements at least twice.
And another insult.
Aahhhhhhhh.... Warpstone!!
