To be honest they kind of are. out of all the three I can't stand Dragon Ball, i find the other two pretty entertaining, but I can tell we both have opposite tastes because I completely despise Tokyo Ghoul

I see what you're getting at, humans are seen an organism that have no natural predator or enemy, but themselves and it was pretty interesting to see them being preyed on and them. I found Parasyte to be pretty similar, but I seemed to like it's story and it's characters more

i didn't like parasyt the maxim it was like spoiler* just throw some sex in there, those disgusting nerds will like that.
