How is Imagine Dragons' music considered rock?

Before we get started, I'd like to point out that I am in no way, shape or form a fan of Imagine Dragons, simply because they're overrated and their music doesn't really match my rock music taste, which I'll explain in a bit. Now, on with the topic:

One thing I don't get with the Indie band Imagine Dragons is how people consider their music to be rock music...I listened to a couple of their most popular songs (I.E: Radioactive, Demons, and On Top of the World), and I still don't hear anything that comes off as rock to me; Radioactive sounds like a dubstep song that TheLivingTombstone would write if he was feeling sick, Demons sounds like something you'd hear in an RPG, and the first time I listened to On Top of the World, I thought I was listening to an unused song from Crash Bandicoot.

Where's the guitars? All rock songs need at least one guitar in them, but none of ID's songs seem to have them, even though photos of their concerts indicate that they have a guitarist (I'm starting to think that he's just posing with it.).

Long story short, why do people consider Imagine Dragons' music to be rock, even though it doesn't sound like it? Discuss.

It's more alternative rock.

I think people call anything with drums and electric guitar rock nowadays.

It's really not that big of a deal though.

I can definitely hear guitars in said songs. They are Alt or Pop Rock.

You only replied to post, which didn't list any info or post songs that FEATURE GUITARS.

You just don't like Imagine Dragons. Which is fine. I don't care for them much, myself. But your post is pointless in it's attempt to get people to agree with you overt lies.

Pop Rock. They do use Guitars, you don't care for them. Please stop.

Except you're clearly ignorant of Imagine Dragons' music as evidenced by your "guitar" reasoning. You're also demonstrating a very limited view of rock by not including Imagine Dragons' music in the category. Both of which showing that you're trying desperately to invent justifications for hating Imagine Dragons.

If you don't like Imagine Dragons, it's perfectly all right to say "I don't like Imagine Dragons. I don't like their style." It's something else entirely to say "I don't like Imagine Dragons because they're not rock."
