Recently, I sent a email to roblox to get my account Owned171 back.
Something who seemed like a bot named "Rick" and "jack" kept giving me repetitive questions on how to get my account back.

To note:
"(content) was (content outforwarded). If any other info is needed, I cannot access the original email"

next he writes back "Thank you for writing to us about this. To assist you further with this account, we will need to verify ownership. Please verify ownership by following the directions below:

•Provide the billing name, zip code and last 4 digits of the credit card number associated with a purchase on the account
or

•Contact us via email from the original billing email or the first email address added to the account. If you have access to the account email address, you can use our reset password feature here to reset the account and will not need to send an additional email: https://www.roblox.com/Login/ResetPasswordRequest.aspx
Please note: we may request a specific method of verification or further account details to ensure we are providing information solely to the account owner.

If you are sending in a new email, please help us assist you more expediently by including this ticket number and your username."


I reply back "I cannot provide this info. The account, Owned171 , we believe had no billing info."

A guy named jack says "Thank you for replying. To assist you further with this account, please contact us from the email address that begins with [ jul ] and is an @[yahoo.com] address. For the safety and security of all player accounts, we must verify ownership of an account before further discussing any account details.
"
I said I don't have access to this email before I even talked to him. What Is this?

The support ticket was 2640508, by the way. I'm still waiting for access to the account.

I cant post this on any of their forums. Not even the help forum, it just says its inappropriate..

Seriously though, if you can't access the e-mail that the account is registered to, nor any of the other information they are asking, then you're just going to have to cut your loses on this one. This is why you need to not only keep your personal information personal (passwords, usernames...etc), but also why you should limit access to those accounts to you, the account holder.

Oh, and use passwords you'll actually remember. They do no good when they keep even the owner out.

He lost his account. He doesn't have any of his account's information and he blames support over the fact that he can't get it back.

imagine roblox changing everything
and then taking a ♥♥♥♥ on everything they changed and then saying "hey yea we are ruining nostalgia yeah" and then inviting a bunch of crappy 25 year old lua coders to make roblox their life job, and then they removed life time bc from that decision
