Stephen King has many good pieces of this genre.
Anyway, the site below may help you find what you want:
http://textadventures.co.uk/games/tag/horror
A large part of the appeal for me is the dim monitor, the black screen with white text, the slow flashing line waiting for my input, the sound of my computer, the jagged low res text, the puzzle, the fact that I have control. It's a very nostalgic and creepy feeling for me, and I want more of that.
I appreciate the link, but sadly, I already saw that, and it's nothing really like what I'm looking for.
I'm looking for specifically that really old fashion text adventure sort of thing, not just a modern scary text.
one that would be as good as reading a Steven King Novel?
that is a tall order
I... I never asked for one better than reading a steven king novel
why are you acting like I did?
