Do you read books?
I know it`s more or less a basic question but do you read books in general or do you think they are boring or waste of time? Let me know what do you think.

Last book that I read was 1984 by George Orwell a month ago and I loved it even tho some parts and the ending gave me chills.

Also if you read books, what genres do you like the most?

HOYYYYAAAA~
Yes alot of books.

Btw, if you liked 1984, i would also reccomend brave new world and we.
Alright to be honest no i don't becuase in my opinion it's boring nothing is happening and i find myself forgetting whait i have read becuae reading isnt in my opinion persoanlly for me engaging its very very boring which leads me to forget what i had just read and sure you can argue that well maybe it's your fault for picking a book that's not interesting or isn't my cup of tea and to answer back to this all i have to say is that it wouldn't make a difference becuase all books in my opinion are pretty bland and boring i prefer to be hands on if that makes sense i want to be the character etc just like how videogames handle story telling etc you arent the spectator per say reading what happens you decide what happens and that's why i love video games over books now this varies game to game sure most games are linear but some games allow you to make choices which can leave a impact on you which i love while sure some books may have choices aswell it to me anyways dosnt have that same impact on me. so yeah I just find reading boring it's just words printed onto the page or digital words on a document what's so amazing about that?!? anyways that's my opinion I'm sure ill get some hate from this comment but whatever this is my opinion you don't have to like it.

I read comic books.

It's one of my favourite hobbies!
I mainly enjoy reading classic literature, The Hunchback of Notre Dame being my favourite book.
I'm currently on Dracula which is very enjoyable so far.

Other genres I like are horror, science fiction (although Dune was a complete bore, couldn't finish it) and dystopia.
Yes I read.
I started early as a kid, and grew up in a book reading family.
I started with Sci-Fi, and some horror.
Then I got interested in history.
I've read hundreds of books on mostly American history.A lot about Native Americans, and the western expansion period.
Later I read a lot about World War II.( My father was a USAF pilot )
I've also read classical literature like Twain,Melville,Maugham,Defoe etc...
Modern like Camus,Proust,Mann,Huxley,Capote..
All of the Sherlock Holmes stories.Wodehouse's Wooster stories.
Old classics like most of Shakespeare, Swift..
I've read the Bible ( KJV ), and the NT again in modern translation, and most of the Apocryphal texts. And books about the history of the creation of the texts.
I've read poetry, and art books, and books on music.
I even made it through a full copy of Bartlett's familiar quotations.

I have started listening to some audio books in the last few years.
It's ok for the purpose of getting through some things I wouldn't have taken time to read. But not as good as print.
Some of us just love to read because we love to learn, and we're adept at reading print.
I tend to be pretty good at general information, and trivia because of it too.
Pretty much rare for reading things on the book. If I do, I prefer reading comic/manga books.

Hearing this makes me go back to school days. Yeah, learning things and answer questions are always from the book.

"If you read the book, that's the way of the world, baby!" - Big Smoke in GTA San Andreas
I read rich dad poor dad and bunch of other self help books. Many of the advice on those book seem very mundane (ie: never put all of your eggs in one basket) but you'll be surprised how many times it helped my life

Looks like we got us a reader here folks.

I want you on my team if they ever force us into a trivia competition for food.
Not as much as I want to. I do more writing than reading.
