Report a translation problem
Easy: Exploring all the hidden areas, weapons, strategies, etc
Normal: Ok, how hard could this possibly be. Later:Yikes, at least I survived
Hard: I've now mastered everything and will conquer this game and make it my... well its an expression Mr. Romero once used.
I only pick hard if it's a game I've done a few time and already know very well.
But usually i play on normal to get a feel for it and then go from there, for the same reason shoopy stated...
If I'm completely new to the genre, I do pick the easiest difficulty, but switch to harder if possible once I get the hang of it.
