Mitten squad a fallout content creator died today.

So I know around 2016 I used to watch a lot of fallout content especially about fallout 3, new Vegas, and 4. And I did watch mitten squads lore and challenges videos long ago which are pretty good. However he hasn’t posted on YouTube in 3 years and his fan base noticed he had a problem with alcohol. It was just confirmed just now he died from alcoholism at age 27. Rip mitten squad you were one of the people that got me invested in the fallout lore and played the games.

Can't say I'm aware of the guy, though as a former hardcore alcoholic that's nearly died from alcohol poisoning more than once, what a shame to have someone go relatively young like that really.

More so if anyone close to him has been trying to get hit to get help with it, if anyone had stuck around to try.
Most people will give up on someone that hard in, it's not easy to see someone you cared about fall that deep into it. Lost plenty of friends that way.

This all said, if you know someone struggling with it continue to support efforts to get them help. If you're someone that struggles with it, get help.

wow this really is terrible. I was just binge watching his fallout 3 challenge videos. I checked his community tab and saw he made a post 3 weeks ago. Very sad. My condolences to him and his family and friends.

A fifth of vodka per day could do it. Almost did it myself, drinking about that much, maybe just a little bit more, for about six years. Quit in January of 2019 after a resulting lack of mucous lining made my stomach begin to digest itself, opening a hole in it called a perforated ulcer. Felt like I got shot, took 5 hours of laproscopic surgery and 18 days in the hospital to get where I could even walk again. Docs said I was 15 minutes away from dying when the paramedics got to me.

Haven't had a drink since, and no need for A.A.

Just a near-death experience is all I needed. And extreme pain.

Why is it so hard to get drugs that will purge the alcohol and end physical dependency?
