Are the hills still alive...with the sound of music?

For those that do not know, a number of years ago a woman sang that the "hills are alive with the sound of music". This was several decades ago. Anyone know if those same hills are still alive? With music?

She wasn't singing about their present state; she was singing about how it works. When the hills hear music, they become alive. But they die when it ends.

It's like musical chairs, but both more geographical and more morbid.
