The Walking Dead, Emily in Paris, Stranger Things, Wednesday and American Horror Story are in my "must watch" list too.
My favorite childhood show by far though is I Love Lucy(and the spin-offs/specials; We Love Lucy/Lucille Ball Show, etc.) I used to watch re-runs of 2 episodes of I Love Lucy back-to-back on Hallmark channel with my grandma each morning before school when I was a little kid. I never stopped watching those re-runs. Lucille Ball was so talented and funny. I had(have) the biggest crush on her. >.<
The series has definitely declined over time, I have to say that. Newer books don’t have the same impact as older ones, and I feel there wasn’t a point in carrying on the main storyline past the 4th arc. I think the series has fallen victim to sequel-itis; they’re writing them simply to just milk the IP, now.
That said, are some specific entries from recent (ish) times that I’ve enjoyed, particularly in the spin-off or alternative sets like the Super Edition and novellas.
And I certainly still love the classics. In fact I’ve started going back and re-reading through my old books that we’re made during my schooling years, when I first read Warriors, and I’ve a newfound level of appreciation for some of them. Especially the 2nd arc, The New Prophecy, which I think I might now like almost as much as the original six books.
And, well: I still base my online persona after the series. I took my username from one of the characters in the books, and have been using it since 2009. My profile picture comes from an official piece of artwork, too.
For a long time Star Trek, but recent series haven't really inspired much interest. Not sure where i stand with that any more.
These days my interests have shifted.
I only ever turn on my television to just watch those.
Its hard to imagine anyone worse than the princess girl that no one allows to kill. Its straight up insulting that everyone treats her as too good for anything, as a good thing.
Its like sanji refusing to fight girls, but even worse, cuz she on purpose puts herself into places where killing should be necessary.
To me she is like the embodyment of the meme of 90s cartoons where no matter what the villian does, you just send them to jail. Like oh, they killed my entire village? Send them to a happy vacation at a prison, which they'll break out of in a couple weeks, right batman?
She is like one piece's version of bleach's orihime in the wako mundo ark.
Is Yamato truly that bad? I lost interest after the big mom ark.
She's like a self insert character, who also roleplays as some dead hero, and everyone is playing along. Excuse me!? If my father was a hero who died and some randy appeared and started saying how she's him, I'd get beyond angry. Its one thing to be a fan or inspired by anyone, but this is just foul. That's her entire character btw, she just goes around and yells how she's the dead hero, in the flesh. Not to mention some people were dumb enough to think that makes her a "man" and how I'm phobic for hating her. Yeah sure, lets just ignore all other T characters who are proper.
I genuinely didn't believe anyone could top Orihime as the worst character in all anime, but it looks like I have a new winner.
Only Fools and Horses
Dr Who even if I don't watch it regularly and sometimes miss entire seasons and catch up on them another time.
Such a great show right? That's where my Steam name came from, btw; Jimmy Neutron and his rival Cindy Vortex.
