Why are there so many adults behaving like kids in this forum?
You make a serious question, you want a serious answer and you only receive non-sense answers from users. That's why I struggle myself to avoid using this forum, you guys make me lose my patience with you all.

Most of you are idiots answering questions, toxic forum!

Cool story bro.

On your other post: It can imply that, but that would only be in certain rare situations. In other parts of the post: There are many people interacting with others with none of the expected effects you suggest. So, it's a lot more common than you think. I have a neighbor that does that and he's a great, helpful, person.

Also: In an effort to be of help - Impulse control. Just wind down a bit. :) Yes, there are adolescents here who love baiting people and being "edgy." It's just something you have to try to ignore as best as you can. Take a breather between posts when you encounter them. :)

There is no sense in giving more attention to a topic than your attention span allow you, what you see as a serious question is perhaps subjective, perhaps extremely naive and i will not make the effort if it fall in either category.

the internet gives one the perfect opportunity to unleash their inner child

I'm a kid, is it ok for me to act like a kid on this forum?
Raelic 16/dez./2023 às 12:42
I'd say asking the questions I'm seeing in your post history on Off-Topic and expecting serious well thought out and sourced responses is the childish thing.

If you feel the need to have these conversations here, it's probably a symptom of something more serious in your social circle that needs to be addressed.

Just do kid things you're fine, far better and funnier than the average schizoposter on accident.

The community responds with silliness because thats usually easier than trying to find the answer for someone to questions that have no answer(because Valve doesn't come in here to answer).

How does one know they are adults and not teenagers acting the goat. But I fully understand where your coming from OP. I had many threads and post derailed because of some silly childish comment that makes no sense.

Well I personally try to response to most threads in a serious manner. Sometimes I like to make a joke or two but most of the time I will give my honest opinion on a subject matter.

Are you a kid, or a squid?

I speak real ♥♥♥♥ and sarcasm. If you can't figure it out I can't help you.

This is something an adult behaving like a kid would type.

Because either people are joking and/trolling, and to be honest many threads themselves are like that or seen like that.

The main reason though is that there is no rule against doing this in these forums.

This is so true. But lets also be honest as well, how can a 12 year old ever be able too answer a question on lets say... paying income tax or how to approach a girl to ask her for a date or anything on adult stuff. A 12 year can only answer questions about picking his nose and growing pubic hair for the first time.
