I had almost given up on Hollywood lately (too much childish superhero movies) and then this film gives me renewed hope for contemporary drama.

Definitely gonna give this film a chance when it hits the theaters.

First time I hear of that trope. Surprised I didn't hear about it before but it imediately reminded me of the last movie I watched (The Platform). I feel like I should have noticed it myself. Feeling kinda dumb right now.

Black people in America, if you're reading this... Those awkwardness and conversations are just trying to include you. It's not some abuse. The weirdness is part of integrating cultures.
