There is a difference!

A sandwich is something that you make because you have to. Work, school, roadtrip, etc.

A sammich is a beautiful work of culinary art that one can sit down (or stand up) and enjoy. Also, sammiches are usually 128% larger on average than their mere sandwich counterparts. I have done the research. Have you?

Back then, you could eat without having to add 300 slices of industrial cheese topped with fatty sauce.

Personally, I eat mostly rice mixed with peppers and onions, a bottle of water and nothing else.

There was a gas station I went to where they actually make your sandwich to order. Best sammich I ever had.

I always thought the name cheeseburger was wrong. A hamburger doesn't have ham. A cheeseburger shouldn't have cheese. They should call it an ice cream burger.
