Why do my eyes feel like they are worse after drinking.
Why do my eyes feel like they are worse the next day after drinking ?

I mean, I am already shortsighted, but whenever I drink alcohol, it feels like my eyes are slightly worse for a while, the next day after drinking.

I only did drink 2 liters of beer. So not an excessive amount.

Get tested for cataracts....

Another drinking symptom is dry eye which can get far worse as you drink and age.

Yeah my eyes are pretty dry the next day after drinking.

I doubt its cataracts as I do not have any other symptoms and can see well enough, just the small written on my screen seems a tiny little harder to see on my eyes. This usually goes away after a while.

I been to the eye doctor numerous times this year already for another reason, he did not find anything wrong with my eyes.

I guess I just should avoid drinking lol

"Alcohol is a diuretic. It causes your body to remove fluids from your blood through your renal system, which includes the kidneys, ureters, and bladder, at a much quicker rate than other liquids. "

I don't drink as much anymore but whenever I did and also had water on me consistently, it was all good.

Did you feel it ?

How do I know the slight bluriness or overwork feeling in my eyes is not from some horrible disease but alcohol ? Help a brother out here, I get a panic attack

Hello this is Dr. OT. I have a diagnosis. I'm afraid it's too late. We're going to have to scoop your eyeballs out. With this rusty spoon. This will tickle a bit.

I generally feel ok. Its really just that my eyes feel somewhat off, but I had this before next day after drinking. I think I have to sip a bit more whiskey to calm the nerves lol

Not the spoon, at least try a fork.
