And not to mention - the billions of US tax $$ stolen for charging stations has yet to see even ONE built under the current klepto administration
Do you want me to share statistics on how many people non-electric cars kill ?
These cars are amazing, its just that the owners dont know how to use it.
Couple of problems with that.
1. The power grid isn't ready for all those charging stations.
2. Electric cars are technically more dangerous because they're silent (and a bigger fire hazard).
3. Air pollution won't be reduced when those old power plants have to produce more power to meet the increased demand.
Oil is non-renewable, and the estimates for how much crude oil we have left are not looking good. The best estimates are that our crude oil can last us till around the 2060s, and even before then, oil will get increasingly scarce, increasingly harder and more expensive to mine, and increasingly more expensive in general. If we don't have some widely adopted alternative to petrol (whether it be electric, hydrogen, vegetable oil or whatever) by around the 2040s, we could be in trouble.
Yeah. But I disagree about the being more dangerous, it isnt, especially not if these cars have mechanisms that stop them. Drivers still have to be careful.
In germany we have cars that look like any normal cars, even sports cars that are electric.
Nobody's grid is ready for mass scale EV conversion either. And most countries still use energy tech from like 1950 so we need to build better quality output sources, too.
