Humans need to be nerfed
The game has been out for 3.7 billion years now and its obvious the devs have abanonded it. Ever since the overpowered human class was introduced 200,000 years ago the game has gone downhill. What's worse is the devs have made no efforts to improve the situation. The Ice Age update 10,000 years ago was supposed to counter the humans but it did nothing. The devs keep saying they're gonna introduce stronger disease mechanics but more and more classes are becoming extinct from the game. I heard a rumour the devs were gonna introduce a climate change update, hopefully that will nerf the humans.

I still hope that the "Antinatalism go mainstream" update will finally save humans souls from being wasted into this ugly, awful, horrible game that is pure crap and just sucks.

imagination is often a detriment, i often think a lot of it is "negative" projection that people often project their own negative traits on others, which certain could be nerfed, given it was at least some form of a switch, a tin foil hat or smth.

humans can't be nerfed because of the evolution mechanic

The developers never said they were going to nerf humans with the ice age patch. They were nerfing dinosaurs with that one, to give mammals more of a chance. Mammals were severely underpowered and underplayed before the ice age ypdate. It's only natural that the new apex class would be Mamilian in nature.

The devs are trying their best to nerf the human class. It started with The Fall D.L.C., when they made humans mortal and gave human females a gestation period. However, that came with reproductive capabilities that turned out to be overpowered.

The flood update was the one that supposed to nerf humans with a hard server reset, but the developers stupidly decided to give humans a 3:1 population ratio advantage over the other species, so it didn't work.

There've been other attempts too. We were supposed to get an End of the Mayan Calendar update, but the devs. either forgot or abandoned it. The only announcement we have to look forward to now is the announced rapture update that' is taking forever.

However, with all of the A.I. stuff that has been added to the game recently, there are also rumors of a Skynet update that may introduce an android class that might be fun to play. Fingers crossed!

Humans are actually pretty weak in base form without equipment.

Yes - it´s basically like a Bethesda game. Main quest is boring, and short, but most of the side quests are actually fun, and make most of the playtime. Then You even don´t even care about the bugs, as the unofficial patch solves that.

And yes - the tutorial is rather boring and misleading. And it´s not that they tell You everything, as it´s based on version 1.0 - they wouldn´t talk about the new stuff they added later, or all the changes in the patches. So experienced players know that the tutorial sounds more like a joke compared to the real game afterwards. But that´s mainly, because at some point they wanted to add more realism, as people complained about it being too fictional with those past philosophy updates, which are now obsolete.

The main quest is still the same though. Grow up, get a job, a family, a house, plant a tree, and finally die to finish the game. Ez. Too ez. Somehow they didn´t address that part by now, even if enough people complained about it for a long time - but imho most people absolutely love the concept, as they like to conserve things, so it guess it won´t be changed anytime soon. Most of all the job part, as that seems to be like quite a chore nowadays after the industrialization DLC. You basically compete with machines for money, while money is life, and only those who can afford a machine have really much money - i mean come on, that was a lame design decision, and leads nowhere.

I guess the nice part is, that it nerfed like 90% of all humans, while some might see it as challenge to be part of the 10% who are still OP. And many say that all humans wouldn´t be doing anything any more, if they hadn´t that goal to be a top 10% player. While the hard part is still to keep smiling while You kill to get there. It feels somehow empty, and the emotions are usually used as a tool to min max it, instead of being used to show some feelings, like it should be. They could add something more to it. But mods solve that - to support the roleplay aspect a bit better, while most prefer to minmax anyways. And then it´s either about this or that - instead of finding a good middle ground, which is somehow sad. But it always comes down to the player...

evolution often gets screwwed up, like if trex was best dino it would eat the others, and that would be according to "evolution".

It was pretty good at the beginning but then they brought Bethesda in and ruined it.

most problems were self created by humans, we added easy way to feed and cure and no other tech basically and it became an overpopulated barn with 1960s technology.

Humans can be made to display algae bloom behavior when they've been primed by being too severely nerfed. It's nonlinear.

Society briefly lost control and humans were allowed to act as they thought they ought to.
