Taco Tuesday RECIPE for 12/12/2023!

Greetings, friends. Tacos here!

Here is the Taco Tuesday recipe for this week, December the 12th of 2023. I will attempt to post a Taco Tuesday recipe every week, on Tuesday. Stay tuned to find out if I can actually do so!

12/12/2023 Taco Tuesday Recipe:

For the taco filling:
Ground Chicken
Sliced Jalapenos
Sliced Tomatoes
Diced Onion
Canned Sweet Corn
Canned Black Beans

Oregano
Garlic (Powder)
Onion Powder
Salt
Cumin
Paprika
Black Pepper

Fresh Cilantro

For the creama:
Limes
Sour cream

Directions:
In a ceramic or glass container, lightly brown ground meat in oven (or toaster oven) covered.
Remove from oven, add sliced jalapenos, tomatoes, onion, corn, and black beans. Season with oregano, garlic, onion powder (yes, MOAR), cumin, paprika, black pepper, and some salt. Cover and return to oven. Bake for 30 minutes.

Creama:
Peel and slice limes as desired. Add sour cream into an appropriate container. I use a bowl. Whip sour cream until smooth enough for lime juice. Mix freshly-squeezed lime juice and sour cream.

Presentation:
Using whatever tacos you like (I like the crunch of a crispy hard shell taco), fill tacos with taco filling as desired. Drizzle with creama and garnish with fresh cilantro.

I'd swap out the ground chicken for either cubed chicken breast or ground turkey, and everything canned for fresh.

But sounds like it could be p tasty.

Ok, it's story time.

Had a family goat as a pet. This goat loved to eat everything. And I do mean everything. Used to feed the goat air, and it would straight INHALE it.
