Are robots and AI girlfriends good or bad?
On one hand, it could be a threat to human relationships. On the other hand, it can be better than ending up alone.

I'm just honest, if we continue with progress the artists will lose their work.
No, that's simply not true.
There will always be people who care about the art created by people while ignoring the AI art.
With always, I mean it.
AI may cause some less talented people to no longer profit from doing what they enjoy doing, but that's kinda a good thing aswell; It's gonna force people who do wanna take interest in art to try really hard instead of treating it like a hobby. And even then, there'll be some individuals who'd be willing to pay for some amateur arts, although it won't be enough to make for a living anymore, which can still be a thing if the artist is talented enough.

art is a miniscule subset of what humans create, most of it is just some buildings and roads. most of human behaviour is just robotic repeatable patterns which they always want to pretend is unque to uplift as some kind of unique talent.

Given the current world population.. It is a good thing without a doubt.

Hard agree on this, overpopulation is a massive issue that people like to ignore

Naturally, people do tons of different things.. So, what's your point?
I can't say I do follow the relevance to the response or parts of the response that you've quoted. It's more like a follow-up, expanding my point in a vague way rather than talking about it.

the point is humans are just biological equivalent of ai. it makes no differencer whether or not ai exists or not.

Some far more than others. I would say narcissists and autistics are the closest biological equivalent of the ChatGPT conception of AI today.

It's not really a threat to something that is already declining.

It seems like a solution to modern circumstances and beliefs.

What's your solution to overpopulation? Lol. Do share.

People don't have to have children unless they want to. The big question is, why do they want to? Until we know the answer to that, then robots are unlikely to serve as any sort of answer.

You'll regret it when your robot-girlfriend gets a malfunction in her shaking-hand.

world itself perhaps is some kind of series of complex mathetical formulas, so regret will register somewhere up there as another "formula", question is what difference is it making on anything whatever happens if anything is just a predetermined series of events and reactions bouncing off of each other

As you can see.. It does matter to some people.. :eaglederp:

This is up to every person... Unless these robots rly end up harming ppl but this just sounds more like a movie plot than something realistic if you ask me...

You are happy with your robot? Cool

But you are not happy with the robot but you still want someone? Then try to find someone 🤷‍♀️
