I don't understand what you mean by starting salaries 4-5? Can you explain that another way or related to housing costs and food for example?
For example a person here started to work for Amazon for $20 per hour. That paid his apt etc but didn't even have enough for food and gas to get to work. Had to go into debt until his wages came up a bit.
Would you say that is more in line with 30 - 40 thousand rubles or your 70 - 80 thousand? Or less?
edit add - I should probably mention his apartment was 2 bedroom with combined living dining kitchen area in front. Not low end housing, not high end..
So basically what I am gathering is.
Your 70-80 thousand ruble salary is per month.
That equates to about $20 per hour here in terms of living expenses.
