I think you're right. And the atmosphere in St. Petersburg is different. It's a bit gloomy in places, but at the same time it's beautiful. you can immerse yourself in the 20th century with your head. Walk around the winter palace.
Yes, I myself do not understand a little about the European part of Russia. No one calls Moscow that here.
I mean the European part goes further than that - the most eastern city would be Perm. So the European part of Russia is a big chunk of Europe itself, that´s why i don´t understand "most European-like" if Russia is a big part of Europe anyway, no matter how it is. It would be different for Turkey, which only has a small part of Europe, while most of it, space and population - is in Asia. While the vast majority of Russians live in Europe - but most of the space is in Asia. And i´m unsure if people ask for cities in their countries, which one the most European-like is, as all of them are in Europe. Some say NY is the most European city in the U.S., which may make sense, as none of their cities are in Europe.

Please name some exceptional quality vodka brand? For instance, in rum, among the top players are Foursquare, Velier and Black Tot. What are the top players in vodka?

I don't drink alcohol. Dad named a good vodka with a brand: White birch. And here's what the Internet says: Vodka quality rating:
1st place: Neft (Black barrel) (Austria)
2nd place: Legend of the Kremlin (Russia)
3rd place: Mammoth (Russia)
4th place: Pure Roses (Russia)
5th place: Spelta (Russia)
6th place: Niki (Russia)
7th place: Tselovalnik (Russia)

You know that just because the continent ends there, the culture becomes significantly different ? It does not.

Same goes for Turkey. Been there, done that. Its the same as on the European side.

I doubt you don't drink alcohol at all. Also the best vodka is Nemiroff (Ukraine).

Is it true that Moscow looks like super beautiful perfect city but once you step outside the city border the rest of the country is so poor like in some medieval village?

Without considering current political situation would you recommend Russia as a place to live?

Yes but Moscow itself is also pretty rotten and people from different parts of Moscow fight each other over who is the better. Furthermore, Muscovites always claim to be something better than people outside of Moscow.

The point was that if it´s in Europe - it´s automatically "European-like", even more so: it is automatically European...

That´s a simple fact i guess.

Thing is, there is nothing such as European-like in the first place.
If you compare the culture and conditions of living in let's say Perm, which you mentioned to be the closest city in Russia to Asia and then compare it to lets say Moscow or St. Peterbourg or even take another country in Europe such as Romania or France, then there will be huge differences in the way people look, talk, eat, live and so on and on.

The difference between culture in lets say Perm and Madrid is as big as between Stockholm and South-Africa.

Yes - i said that in the post before the one You quoted...

And i also said that it maybe make sense if Americans say that NY may be the most "European like" city, as none of their cities is in Europe, while i don´t understand what anyone could mean with "European-like" if it´s very diverse.

Btw:
Are You sure i´m stalking You - or is it the other way around? I mean out of us two i´m not the one who said that he had profiled certain people over a longer period of time, and then managed to write false personal information about the people...

But let´s not derail this thread...
