Do you guys have hotdog vendors there or nah?
Well... I met them at gas stations when I was traveling to Belarus. And so that they stand somewhere in stalls and sell, then no. Maximum in some eateries or restaurants :D

I just remember from the movies, hot dog sellers in America stupidly go out on the sidewalk with a small "stroller" and sell hot dogs
But maybe this is a cliche and it doesn't really exist anymore

I like to get different views from people to build a picture of what is going on.
Saw a Russian POW being interviewed earlier this year and he was absolutely adamant that what they are showing him on Ukrainian city being bombed was of their own doing and nothing to do with Russia.
Maybe he had to be like that in case of being in trouble on release.

Over here we get mixed messages on what the 'Russians believe' sometimes they say they know its bull and more and more they get some so called expert who says 'more and more they are believing in Putin'.

Thanks for responding, its a bit of relief not everybody is on the same page over in Russia.
And I'll add it to the Wagner account. My colleagues were talking at work and we were just talking about the war. A colleague has a man at war in Wagner's squad and it is for their squad that they are told, if you understand that there is no chance and you can be captured, shoot yourself in the head. They are forbidden to drink and have very strict discipline compared to conscripts and other military personnel.

I was surprised the way the media over here were saying how Wagner are more professional than the Russian army, simply because usually outside forces are a little more relaxed not stricter.

Was posting the losses for you but it won't do you any good to know it would most likely upset you (it would me if it was my countrymen those kind of losses ) plus if you repeated it to another person it might get you into trouble so I left the figures out.

The media doesn't lie, apparently. I won't say for sure, but from the conversations of my workmates, it is true.

1. I didn't understand the first question.

2. Never. Do you think a bunch of people will do something?) They'll lock us up and forget us. Remember the Wagners when they marched to Moscow. Moscow was closed in principle and they took up arms. And what will the peaceful people do? Nothing

3. How should I know? I don't live in Germany. Ask your neighbors or who they are to you.

4. It depends on the person. I can't stand alcohol at all. Even ordinary red or white wine. I don't like champagne either, but it's a tradition to drink it on New Year's Eve. Therefore, you have to drink a glass. But it also depends on the age. I have an old man at my cottage, so he can drink a bottle in one fell swoop. But he is a sincere neighbor, he will always help if something happens.

5. I don't know who says that. I Googled it here and it was invented by the Kazakhs in general. And in Russia and Ukraine, borscht has become part of the traditional dishes of the countries. Ukrainians consider borscht their national dish. Poles, Lithuanians, and Romanians think the same thing. Each nation has its own subtleties and peculiarities of cooking this dish. There are no clear canons.

6. What kind of nonsense is this? Have you seen any Russian men at all? In Moscow, everyone is watching, both girls and men, for their appearance.

7. Okay, why do our men think better than you? Let's philosophize on this question. I do not know if you have been drinking, but I have never been asked such stupid questions here. I am glad that your wife is smart and I am sure that she is a beautiful girl. But to belittle others is low. Apparently you have some kind of anger at us, that's why you're trying to pour it out here. And the cards all add up. My wife is from a country where there is a war with our country now. That's why you're being aggressive.

8. Racism... I don't know, we openly joke about black people, for example. This is quite normal for us. As for gays, they are already instilling in us that this is not normal. Yes, I agree with this in principle, to some extent. I don't really care about gays, but if you think that I'm going to have a son like that, then no thanks. If it doesn't concern me, then I don't care what orientation a person is.
I disagree with a lot of these answers. I know for a fact that Russia doesn't like outsiders. They don't take kindly to tourists and they don't even respect their own people. Never go to Russia. Have you ever wondered why everyone drinks until they black out? It's because of the poor living conditions they have to deal with every single day of their lives. It's not fair for them that they have to live in filth while Putin sits a top his throne in Moscow. I'd support the movement to end Putin's reign in Russia. Power to the people people of Russia!

What's the point of asking questions? If you stand by your opinion. I live in Russia and I know better what the conditions are here, why they drink, who treats whom, and so on.

Do you imagine us to be homeless, always drinking, inadequate and fools who worship Putin and kiss his feet? Do I understand correctly?

With all do respect, i believe you're wanting us to agree with you, I don't think you're really interested in answering our questions. I could be wrong, I don't know. But you're in a country that doesn't allow free speech, so their isn't much you can say.
Friend, I'm talking openly with you now. Yes, I'll say ♥♥♥♥ on the street, because they'll put me in jail. But here I communicate and express all my thoughts openly.
That's why I hate discussing politics. For everything leads to the same thing and always - and this is discord, swearing and standing on your point of view.

Listen, I believe everyone should be free. Russia isn't free. So yes, i do invision your people to not be very social and/or well-behaved. No offense, seriously. I just can't see how you deal with such living conditions.
We live normally, I'll say that. Not without exceptions. Let's say pensioners really survive and this is a fact. 17 thousand is a penny pension. If you live in Moscow, you won't even have enough to pay taxes. Rather, we tolerate it all. That's why people walk around sullen and angry.

I have already mentioned somewhere about the same elections. Where the citizen caught these scammers. There were pens with special ink at the elections, which disappear if heated.

Yeah, don't you want a more peaceful life where things like taxes aren't a continuous threat? Don't you want to live freely? Come on, support the movement. Let's end Putin's reign and give the people what they deserve.

Friend, this is simply impossible. It will be a civil war with the army, with the state. When Wagner was peacefully marching on Moscow, complete chaos was taking place in Moscow. Moscow was simply shut down. People stood in traffic jams for days, excavators dug through the roads so that no car could pass. We will simply be destroyed and every citizen understands this.

Second round of questions!
Nothing to do with politics but of my favourite past time movies :

Have you seen Night Watch film and Day Watch film?
Did you like them?

they are in my top films list.
To anybody who doesn't know these films they are Russian and the director and actors describe it as a Russian fairy tale.
I cannot remember the order to watch them in.
Long ago Light and Dark had a big war and it was a stalemate so many were getting killed they decided to hold a peace.
to ensure this peace lasted they both formed police type groups called : Night Watch and Day Watch.
Absolutely brilliant and very original for when I saw them many years ago.

Do you have a translator who can translate from photos? If so, then here are screenshots of the news and people's reactions are also visible there.
