Tangents aside...

I still find it funny that Elon went the whole Palpatine route of "I love Democracy. I love the Republic." Vox Populi, Vox Dei. etc etc. and left Alex Jones' fate to a poll. The poll was made. The votes were cast. The users of the platform voted 70% yes, 30% no. Alex got unbanned.

It makes one wonder. Are there cracks in the foundation? Are people growing more rebellious to the mainstream narrative? Is this just a people sticking it to the man? What would have happened if Elon wasn't in charged of Twitter? What if this poll was made under a different owner? Would the same have occurred? Hell, would a poll even exist for such a thing? Probably not... Alex Jones is definitely a unique American figure, be he a hero or villain in one's eyes. The memes alone speak to that.
