How much of a boob must be covered
to be publicly decent?

It seems pretty arbitrary at this point, doesn't it?

there should be a government program ensuring everyone has at least one full-body potato sack.

in an equal society u shouldnt need any coverage.. in a hellhole where people rape women just for breathing I think covering makes sense

People from places where women usually go topless don't see breast as sexual at all. Knew a few Pacific Islanders I went to college with and they didn't get our obsession with breasts.

Also think back to when a woman showing her ankle was scandalous.

Hiding something is what sexualizes it because it becomes intimate.
but we know that in many of the "hellholes" its not about sexualization but about submission.. its simply follow the rules or die... if it wouldnt be "cover up" it would be "wear red shoes" instead or some other silly stuff.. and u would also have to die for not obeying

And are they cultures to emulate?

Some of them. Ever heard of Egypt? Or Rome? Far older than the US of A. Hell, most of antiquity allowed most classes of women to go topless or in the case of the upper classes transparent fabrics.

Then the puritanical religions happened.

So do children just not exist now? Intimacy? Anything that isn't just "being naked to be naked"? To say rape is the only reason people wear clothes is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

See above.
woe betide those who look good in a potato sack.
we're talking about women right?

depends

1. casually in most society settings like daytime at a cafe library etc full chest or a small opening like a t shirt

2. at a beach and stuff imo if a coconut cannot cover it then it should be allowed

3. at night like night clubs bars a night out in the town etc ive seen girls with see through shirts or those chainmail looking cotton shirts. So long as the nipple is covered doesn't really matter (and not they had a small thin but covering strap or bra underneath

The misguided fool John Calvin was the worst thing since Adrian IV. Even worse than Savonarola and Tetzel.

I'm just saying, women lost a lot of privilege under the Christian and Islamic regimes compared to antiquity.

You should take them in context of a class based patriarchy, there are always exceptions for the upper class, often overblown by modern academics, and notably against progressive preferences, they almost never depicted anything but the ideal age and figure, especially that of women.

Puritanical? Egyptian art is almost unchanging, the styles are ridged, so it depends on the interpretation.

Notably todays woke are the most simultaneously degenerate and puritanical around.

Please understand women have literally been written out of history. What you were taught in school is not how it was.

Here's an iceberg tip, dig deeper if you want.

Please don't use stupid lingo in your argument. It debases everything.

It is believed that that section about women being silent in church was from a forgery written well-after Saint Paul's death. During his travels through the Roman world, he was accompanied by several women whom he praised quite a bit in his many letters.

Here's a trick: Line up the Birth of Jesus passages from the Gospels and try to make them all work.

Get back with us if you can figure it out.
everyone shoould be covered. like please just where normal cloths. guys legit walk around with boxers and girls with really short shorts and i can see their you know what when they need to bend over, just cover yourself. and no to the boobs. its weird and gross showing your boobs to everyone and makes me feel uncomfortable, i can't imagine dating someone like that, it's private.

also i always were shirts even when swimming, showing any skin is just weird to me. idk any long pants for swimming so i just were the beach shorts
