They wanted him gone, Bush and his pet poodle Blair conspired to take down Saddam and his old obsolete force of ancient tanks and fighter jets. They got their wish.
Several people reported me to the principle asking I be expelled.
Now, the principle blew off the the reports and told me to do the same, but the fact that other students were asking that I actually be expelled still blows my mind.
You forget he stole American oil
Invaded and occupied the country of Kuwait because he wanted access to the sea. [/quote]
That's what we're told. At this point, do we believe what we were told? Any of it? Some of it? Just the things that GWB didn't tell us, but none of the things he did? Just what FOX News said? None of that but just what CNN said?
I'm at the point I don't believe anything we were told, are told, or will be told -- about anything in the world that happeed, is happening, or will be happening -- that I didn't see with my own eyes at close range. The longer you live the more you -- or most people anyway -- will see (unless you're one of the people that will not see) that just about everything we were were told in the past was lies.
Did he put people in wood chippers and feed them to dogs for gladiator-style entertainment?
I dunno. That's what we were told.
Did he have WMD?
Uh oh. See?
Or for not vocally supporting Ukraine against Russia.
Among many, many, many other reasons.
But that seems weird to you?
You can imagine how well I fit in.
People have always tried to get people, um, canceled... for not supporting Current Thing.
"EVERYTHING?" No. That's a hyperbolic stretch on your part.
Regarding war?
Historically, not many can be trusted, nope. Deception -- of everyone -- is integral to war.
Hell they lied us into Vietnam. Before that they lied about Pearl Harbor.
Why wouldn't a rational man question what we were told about Iraq?
"War is a Racket." Read that sometime.

You can read the Reports from the many hearings that took place, some of them even physically published and widely distributed. (eg: 9/11 Commission Report)
But, I guess if you won't read a wiki page, that's sort of out of your scope.
I do not accept your premise of "we’re the bad guys in that war" because you obviously don't know anything about it or what led up to it.
And, if you won't read a wiki article, I highly doubt you'll read an exhaustive post of what led up to that war and what Saddam did before it. So, truly - Why are you asking about information you can easily find, but refuse to read?
