Do you enjoy Vodka ?

I personally don't enjoy it and only consume it to get as drunk as possible by spending little money. Do you enjoy vodka from time to time while gaming ?

I personally love to get super drunk while playing call of duty, which is usually when I decide to turn on VOIP and harrass people online.

When I did drink vodka I usually mixed it with lime cordial.

If memory serves I believe that Lemmy used to drink vodka and orange juice.

Yeah, I admittedly did, but I enjoy sobriety much better. Vodka is low-calorie and one of the easiest drinks for your body to digest; plus, it's a spirit that'll keep your radiation levels low and get you straight to the point of being tipsy with minimal fuss and a lot of bite.

The Eastern European tradition—I'm thinking Russia—of eating fermented food in between shots of vodka is a solid method of staving away any desire to binge eat while your liver is busy pumping out the alcohol (meaning your body is vulnerable to weight gain). I don't promote alcohol consumption, but if I were forced to pick a drink, vodka would be one of my first choices when it is being consumed 'wisely' instead of 'idiotically'.

Closest I ever got were some chocolates that had some kind of vodka syrup filling in them.

They were disgusting, so I'm going to assume I don't like vodka as a result.

In fairness I can't say I would like alcoholic syrup in chocolates either.

Im not a fan of Vodka myself, im more a Bacardi and coke cola drinker myself. In britain, it's hard to come by real russian vodka these days unless you use the black market. So we have to stay with fake Vodka (as in vodka made in other countries).

it is mainly ethanol and water, so if you have used a high-alcohol hand sanitizer it kinda tastes the same way the hand sanitizer smells (but the sanitizer has other stuff in it so it wouldnt taste the same even if you somehow got the idea to try).

it is a rather pleasant smooth taste that shouldnt be too overwhelming if it sits around 40% and you enjoy it in small sips.

since it has a neutral taste, spirits-wise, it can be mixed with non-alcoholic things as well to give them a little bite, but dont overdo it or it will only taste of alcohol instead of enhancing the flavor of the other liquid(s).

that said, i mostly use other spirits such as brandy, rum, or whisky for mixing since i find that while vodka adds alcohol it also adds only that and 60% water, so it kinda dilutes the taste a bit without adding some flavor of its own.
it depends on what result you are going for of course, but i prefer more flavor so i usually just enjoy vodka as-is.
