Dead Fish of Japan
Today it was reported
"Thousands of tons of dead fish wash up on beach and nobody knows why..." Hmm I wonder why...

"Japan is releasing the waste water into the ocean gradually, with a green light from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The first release is one of four, scheduled between now and the end of March 2024. The entire process will take at least 30 years."

30 years!

I understand Japan has to remove their radiation water from the Fukishima plant. It doesn't seem appropriate to cover up negative health affects of marine wildlife and human seafood consumption simply to protect the seafood industry and economy.

Japan has a massive economy and on top of the world with progress does Japan actually need to be hunting whales and fish for profit and in radiation zones no less?

"China halted seafood exports from the country. It cited food safety fears from damage to the environment and marine life."

So, in this thread, people not knowing how radiation works.
Water is a good container for radiation.
It vastly contains the radiation into a much smaller area.

That's why we have coolant platforms in nuclear reactors.

The radioactive water cannot cause massive fish die off now.

It could only do so right after the Fukishima disaster happened, and only in a very small radius around the site itself.
WTF why is that censored?

Because of how contained radiation is in water.

Good grief.
Lots of things can cause fish die offs.
Why the heck do we have to jump to radiation!?!

Radiation can kill the player in Fallout games.
Games aside, Radiated water is a poisonous substance there is no arguing against this.
Poisons in small amount do less harm? Of course. I drink less motor oil i get less negative side effects.

Seawater is naturally radioactive. There is absolutely no arguing against this...

So can tritium act as a catalyst in a radioactive environment to attract and concentrate radioactive particles above the levels fish are used to, or not?
Stranger Dec 8, 2023 @ 11:46am
Did England define the international standards for tritium release to specifically target fish populations in order to protect their dying fish markets, or...?

Was it another mistake, like all lead everything was?

The suppression of lead research in order to sell more crockpots, immediately resulting in leaded beans?

HMMMMM.

Are they even releasing the water or are they just going to shoot it into space, and the bots are mass-killing fish to 'help' hide this? Since if people found out they had a nuclear reactor our battery shipments would start to look kind of stupid, and they've invested heavily in that supply chain in order to protect their accounts. And also run all their crap off of because they don't have any viable capacitors, besides the batteries. Which don't halt or limit anything, they just drain the planet's resources.

That's not how any of this works.
Huh?

This is the part where you're supposed to slowly back away and spread out your arms to make yourself look bigger...

This is what exactly the association of fishermen in Fukushima feared.

Urgh I hate that people treat the ocean like a dump site, as if you throw something in there and it magically disappears it's literally worse than burying it because it will just float around in the ocean causing problems for god knows how long! Nuclear power can ♥♥♥♥ off honestly.
