Opera.
If you're a normal guy coming from chrome, try Brave.

If you're a neckbeard who loses sleep over using a chromium based browser, try Firefox.

Firefox is better IMO

- Doesn't use chromium (Owned by Google, easier for google to track and disable adblockers on youtube)
- Still has all the functionality of Brave in Private Browsing mode

Firefox or Librewolf.

I do keep Tor Browser and ungoogled Chromium around for special cases.

Firefox is kept barely alive to keep Google from facing an anti-trust case. Been a firefox user for a decade but the incompetent management has turned the browser into a joke. That on top of Mozilla donations being squandered on activism and censorship, just adds insult to injury.

I don't like Brave and I think there are better Chromium forks out there, but it's much better than Firefox imo.

I've tested them, and watched others test them.

The results are negligible, and depend largely on your computer and internet connection.

Brave shills try not to be obvious challenge (impossible difficulty)

"Neckbeard" here using Firefox *Raises a hand and smiles, assuming you can see through the thick beard*

Hardened Firefox or Librewolf. Ungoogled Chromium or Brave for when it has to be Chromium-based.

If you feel fancy you could also use GNU IceCat. :installgen2::installgen2::installgen2:

I use Firefox. That being said, it really is horrendous when it comes to privacy. Pretty much everything you do, when you did it, and what system you did it on is monitored and sent over to Mozilla. Constantly.

Brave is okay but ti still spies on you a ton. I would be very very cautious when it comes to trusting that company.
