This guy was still pressed about losing after he tea bagged for no reason and i won. Told him to humble himself but he just lied and said that he didn't tea bag. It's recorded lol. Anyways whats crazy to me is that you'd think that people would be too busy spending time with family during the holidays . Instead this guy is sending me DM's past midnight still salty .

Cursed at me then blocked me as i did the same afterwards . That's is nuts .
The game he lost in took place on the 23rd ... its now the 7th ... lmfao how is someone this upset ?

They show up after a loss and curse me out. I laugh at them then they delete the comments then i get trolls who say " why are you talking to yourself ? " It's unoriginal this is why i usually just record everything.

Not gonna lie, I've kept screenshots of certain exchanges I've had with toxic fellow gamers in the past.

There's this one guy I didn't know who intentionally spoiled Fallout 4 for me in a private message on a forum. I asked why he did it, and all he did was reply with a smiley. I checked his past posts and found a bunch of overtly racist stuff, so I could only conclude he didn't like what he saw in my profile picture (the color of my skin). Hopefully I'm wrong, but it doesn't change what he did and the senselessness of it.

That was 8 years ago. Why did I keep the exchange? In anticipation of a chance for retribution? Maybe.

Now, I'm in my right mind. As far as I know, I'm sane and stable. I just like to keep a (mostly mental) list of people who intentionally messed with me. A long list spanning years. I'm also a writer, so I like using them for material.

Now imagine what someone who's totally unhinged might want to do to you over some online exchange. Or a schizophrenic who (unintentionally, of course) incorporates you into their delusions as a result.

Just be careful.

Even if an unhinged person wanted to do something to me I'm not worried about it. Most people just try to talk tough over the internet . I've had tons of people send me death threats in DM's on steam after beating them in MK. I have a whole video i made about a guy who wants to find me in real life just because i beat him 3 times . I'm still breathing and I'm not worried one bit . Sure someone could try to spoil a game for me but I'll catch on before even being able to read enough for it to spoil anything.

Yea but the fighting game community is full of people that send death threats just as other genres . I appreciate you telling me to be careful . I want to tell you not to allow people to scare you. You may not even be scared but just in case ... don't let threats from them get to you. Most people online behind a keyboard are soft especially if they're crying about losing over a game. The threats are just shock factor . I mean the amount of horrible things people have said to me in the last 7 years after taking a loss . If someone took all that stuff to heart they'd have a panic attack and wouldn't be able to sleep. I just laugh at them because they're a joke to me.

vengeful pettiness, it happens when you sting someone so bad they continue to feel it days later and want to make the one stung them hurt the same way. apparently they succeeded because they live rent free in your head as you complain about it out here.
