I just got a message at 12:50AM from someone who lost to me online the day before Thanksgiving.

This guy was still pressed about losing after he tea bagged for no reason and i won. Told him to humble himself but he just lied and said that he didn't tea bag. It's recorded lol. Anyways whats crazy to me is that you'd think that people would be too busy spending time with family during the holidays . Instead this guy is sending me DM's past midnight still salty .

Cursed at me then blocked me as i did the same afterwards . That's is nuts .
The game he lost in took place on the 23rd ... its now the 7th ... ♥♥♥♥♥ how is someone this upset ?

Nerd rage is the ultimate expression of finding yourself in it later, and when someone snaps that hard, computers can be destroyed in the heat of the moment.

The problem is that the negative mental aspect can be alluring at times, some people know they should stay away and can't keep away, a glutton for punishment. but sometimes some don't know any better and of course they get pushed too hard by others who sense weakness, after that point it's a domino effect of bad decisions fuelled by impaired thinking leading to nerd rage if it gets there.

Yeah the point is to overcome rage rather than avoid it.

If you avoid it you're creating a negative avoidance pattern that draws you into the behavior unwittingly, often at the most stresseful and most difficult time periods.

There’s one last thing I’d like to touch on because this happens time and time again and people usually realize it too late . Some even add me on steam to apologize.

Let me be very clear , I’m not the jerk here . These people I come across in games know exactly what they’re doing . They talk trash in game , on posts I make , and on my profile. I respond to them and go in on them then they delete the comments .

Some will then come back and leave short comments like “ are you ok man ? “ “ why are you still going ? “ meanwhile they’ve inboxed me tons of hateful comments .

What you see on my profile is the responses to what others have said . Each paragraph of text you see was a response to what they originally said via on my profile , and in game .

They purposely delete comments then someone random comes by and reads my responses and just assumes I’m the problem . Only when I record and upload videos showing the entire chat , voices via over the mic , and screenshots of comments do people finally understand.

So to Irene who said all they see is me insulting people . NO I’m standing up to hate fueled “ bullies “ who started with me first . I will stand up for myself . If you lose to me in a game then curse me out via the mic chat , then come to my profile calling me trash , you bet I’m going to go in on you .

I’m not a jerk for standing up to hateful people .
