it's a game, 'your choice at midnight,' kind of like Clue meets talisman/haunted house on the hill. people wander around a mansion collecting clues and items, and at midnight they decide whether to accuse anyone of anything, and if they all agree they can cancel out whatever plot that person enacts. but there's only one vote. you can also enact various plots depending on where you are and what items you ahve at midnight, like lightning the mansion on fire or releasing captive monsters in the basement or zombie dogs in the front yard or w/e.

after that it plays out like a competitive br, where the winners are the people who escaped the mansion alive. or the last person standing as the mansion burns down around them.
