i want more kid friendly/adhd games

spyro is legit S tier, we need more spyro and more games like it. just simple fun gameplay. none of this complicated garbage. games are getting more harder and annoying instead of simpler for people like myself to enjoy.

Well guess what, i do have autism related issue in my family, i'm certain to have it. autism covers a range of disorders, doesn't mean you have autism, it just means there is a medical blanket term that exists around it. i'm not the one who created that.

So.... I have ADHD, which it means I also have some degree of autism?

Also I'm still confused about the "kid friendly" and "ADHD" put together.

probably some degree, but maybe not enough to be a diagnosis... they aren't wrong that it's *related*...

that being said, I'm kinda tired of people being like autism this and autistic that and trying to label everyone and everything, ok?

It was just me having a laugh at the term Disorder.

I forget these forums are spikey with everybody having to be correct all the time.

Back to topic :
There was a game from Sonic called Dr Robotniks Mean Bean Machine.
And I loved it you could play two player and have a great practice or compete against each other.
It was tough but rewarding on the patterns you could set up and demolish.

This is an example of it if your playing the machine then the different opponents get different type strategies to beat them.

That's just Puyo Puyo. The Gainjinized Bean bastardization is on Steam, but I would recommend reverting it to the original state.

I recommend Cosmoteer. It's held my attention for over a month straight. 400+ hours in that time...

The fact we have about as many remakes of classic 3D platformers / collect-a-thons as we do actual, original titles, is pretty sad.

Old / remakes:

Spyro Reignited Trilogy
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania
SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated (what a name)

New:

A Hat in Time
Bowser’s Fury
Super Mario Odyssey
Yooka-Layley

And if you want to get technical about it, those first three remakes are compilations comprised of three games each, meaning that amounts to ten remade games.

As for the new ones, three of the four released in 2017. That was six years ago.

This is why I said 3D platformers in Scurrybt’s thread about dead / unused genres.
