is Friendship with old people really that bad? and why?
Someone said to me to stop being friendly/open too much with old people because they know a lot of ways to make thing around them and they don't be friends in the "fair" way.

is this true?

or do you think "bad" old people is more than the "good" people?like (70% vs 30%)

and do you think this matters on steam or online friendship?

Age has no bearing on likes and attitudes imho. If ya enjoy the same things as another and they in turn enjoy time with you as you with them, I don't see age as a factor.

There's people of all ages, from pre-teen to silver age with bad attitudes and opinions, and the same with good attitudes and thoughts.

Block Mute whoever said that. They are beyond stupid.

Some of my best friends are much older than I am.

but at the end of the day its up to you.

Frankly people lie about their age and behave far younger than they claim to be anyway.
(Even to the point of breaking terms of service)

Sadly I've seen older people behave like 4 year old's.

So its more of a "maturity" factor and less age.

So aim for the smart ones - age not withstanding.

I am 45, i have friends down to their 20s and friends up to their 60s.
As long as you get along, share interests and have compatible personalties, age is absolutely no factor in a friendship.

if you're asking this question on forums then you should never talk to adults (old or young) online. its for your own good and safety.
adults don't have to babysit random kids and adults have nothing in common with kids, there are no friendship between kid and adult. anyone who's claiming it is possible - predator and should be avoided.

As an old person, I can confirm we're capable of make thing around them. We're sneaky that way.

Pro Tip:
People can be good or bad regardless of age.

But there is the caveat, that If you are very young, there is a skewed power dynamic to an older person. And that person, can use that against you.

I have a regular gaming pal in his 50s and we banter away no bother.

Lol Probably because he had some of bad experience with old people, personally I had a lot
trouble/ getting annoyed with irl old people because they way too religious or forcing what they believe it's wrong to others.

But yeah seems not all old people like this.

I see, is there really people with 20y can share the same intrest with 60y?

I think new players love using emoji and playing ginshin impact but the old one prefer the text emoji and playing cs 1.6 / l4d2.
no

all the stupid dumb selfish ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ people die early on from their own hand, other's hands, or their own recklessness.

the ones who usually live to a ripe old age are those who generally:
-don't smoke
-don't drink
-don't laze about
-always active
-eat right
-generally live a boring but active lifestyle

it's why most guys die on average around age 65-70 and women 75-80. B/c even after men retire women tend to keep taking care of the family.

tbf most old people i've met are somewhat really nice. Very rarely is anyone an a hole.

and i count anyone past 65 old

That is the dumbest **** i've ever heard.
You need new friends. :papyrus:

I love people and am a friendly guy.

But, I don't /friends on teh interwebz. Sure, I recognize and have discussions with people, but I do not go past that. (All anon-friend requests get refused. /shrug)

Being an older person who has a lot of "young" gamer friends... is not smart. At least, on Steam. I've had "friends" in MMOs and guilds and the like, but even meeting them at events was going a bit too far.
