Back when I lived on the east coast, we used to go to Wawa and get their subs. They were good, but thing about Wawa is that if you ask them to give you extra meat, you basically have enough meat for two sandwiches. They have sort of the opposite issue of Subway, where you can get too much on your sandwich if you’re not careful.
Ultimately, it’s one of those foods where I kind of like making it myself, instead. When I buy stuff to make a sandwich, I can easily fix one every single day for lunch and never get sick of it.
Subway USED to be THE go to place for sandwiches
but after the Jared Fiasco the 11 inch sub footlong controversy and overall the lack of quality control and other subs rising up subway has become a literal Subway
dirty and not so fresh.
had an ex coworker who was a manager there. He said the food was god awful and they didn't really keep stuff fresh.
also the jared eat healthy campaign was a flop for more than one things but overall the biggest is you're essentially eating almost 2 whole loaves of bread which is mostly carbs. Not good for your if you wanna lose weight as it's a power / fuel source for the human body and thus takes more time to digest and burn up the calories.
there's a reason why wheat and glutten are used in every food source along with corn.
It's GOOD for going strict veggies and cold cuts with also convenience
but
it's the McDonalds of the sandwich world
Quiznoes is the arbys of the sandwich world
the real OGs eat at firehouse subs or jersey mikes
any other place is hot garbage
The local grocery sell's bologna at $5.99 and for 3 meats it's $7.99 and your lucky if the package is 300 grams
