They might as well try to reboot Terminator 1-3 while they're at it.
Leave the man alone!
My thoughts are that Hollywood is guilty of very many sins... and this is one of them.
Nobody asked for this. The public didn't want this. We were all having fine lives, sort of, without this movie being in them. In fact, one could likely say that the World is a worse place with this movie in it...
It "should" flop. But, we'll have to wait and see what happens, I guess. Who knows, it could be an excellent movie that breaks through the wall of crappy blockbuster-wannabes that Hollywood hypes? It's hard to say just from a trailer.
PS: The first one is outstanding. I actually enjoyed the second one with Depp, but I treated it like it was just a sort of "new lens." (I did hate what they did with the Oompa Loompas, though. They were always supposed to be the "Greek Chorus" and they ruined that vibe.) Even though Depp is a fine actor, IMO, Wilder's portrayal is iconic.
Not interested in the least...
I'm done with "re-boots" "re-makes" and "re-imaginings".... including "what happened before" or "what happened next" garbage.
Time to make new stuff and stay away from ruining the old classics...
Bold choice. Let's see if it pays off for them.
Time for the next "Barbenheimer". Willy Bonaparte.
Zaslav really should have wrote this one off instead of Coyote Vs. ACME if he wanted Warner Bros. to stay in everyone's good graces.
