What software to use to record games?

So right now i have AMD adrenaline but .,..is not working so well. In some games the videos are just black or is not recording the sound or is not recording the mic. So what the best gameplay recorind software to buy like 1 time buy.

I use OBS. No need to pay for it, it is free

Paid version of Bandicam is the best for me. (Only once time purchase)
Zoom is the free one, but it comes with limitations and not recommended for security.

I don't understand why, nor do I care to. Use OBS Studio to record and Shotcut to edit. Free, open source software is the way to go.

I don't want to sacrifice 4GB of memory just to record a gameplay in HD. Furthermore, I don't want to spend times learning how to use a fricking tool that isn't mainly for recording purpose. I prefer using DaVinci Resolve to edit my videos.

So, if you don't like something, it doesn't mean others don't like it.

Edit: Free thing also has its own price.

I've never had any bugs with OBS, though it resetting the input resolution and cropping settings from the webcam after updating it was a bit of a pain.

I rarely do record but when I do I use OBS or Shadowplay, in the past I've used PlayClaw 5.

Why did everyone use Fraps for so long? It was awful in every way and there was always better alternatives.

Go pro over the shoulder as a PREDATORS pulse canon. Plus can watch yourself use the keyboard mouse and find issues in your style of play.
Broadcast to separate system and have windows game recording.
attempt to record from same system with it hooked into a VCR on channel 3.

Games that have recording function are the best. During Gamespy era. Racing games that permit to offload to a usb, possible sport games.

Looking at fighter games where recording short change and actually don't look like what just happened does occur.

When they broadcasted Playstation games through steam perhaps that one whichever version can make it so if it is not cross platform can at least be cross watched.

I've used bandicam a bit but eventually switched to OBS and it's work pretty well for me.
