Game makers can't even make competent game Ai. I wouldn't count on Ai generated games to be any better.

You could argue that some Ubisoft games already feel made with AI I guess

It probably wouldn't be that hard for AI to make an Indie or metroidvania type of game.

I don't want games to be "made" by AI. Games are about humans making art and toys for other humans.

I don't mind assets being used that were created by AI and selected for inclusion by humans.

Simple games? Sure.
Complex entire games? Doubt it.

At this point AI is now copying other AI to make photos resulting in worse and worse results. By the time AI can make a video game there will be no originality left for the AI to rip off.

In the short term aka before the next decade kicks in, maybe AI will be able to replicate Call of Duty games, FIFA games, Music rythm games, etc.
Complex games like Dwarf Fortress, 4X games, etc; perhaps in 2 decades or less if there's a breakthrough.

Still would rather keep buying indie games made by humans for humans, before giving cash to an AI made by a random multi-national Corporation somewhere.

Seeing how procedurally generated world all look the same after a while I would not expect A.I to make very interesting games.

At least I would not buy a game entirely made by an A.I knowing it was made by one.

Yeah and I'd be interested in playing it. That said, AI art tends to look rather bland, so I don't expect much from an entire videogame, but I could be wrong.
