Yeah that was good. A bit slow, and I wanted more bomb, but was a damn good biopic nonetheless.
Umm..depends on your expectations. Big war film? No. No. Not at all. Love story? Umm, I mean half the film is about Josephine so kinda, but not really a love story since she was never really fond of him and was a CERTIFIED ♥♥♥♥♥.
Other than that it's just a Reader-Digest checklist that skips years between each scene. I swear the whole Coronation event with all of its elegance and costumes and gorgeous set was over in a minute.
I've been told Apple TV has a 6 hour cut. Maybe that's why the theatrical cut seems like 3/4 of it got lost, somewhere.
OK. I know the history. There have been many documentaries. If he's nothing, you've warned me. :-)
Puss in Boots 2 was 2022, right? If not, then maybe that one.
Saying Best film 2023 is like saying best broken bone you ever had.... thankfully none.
Thankfully next year looks a little... very little... better
