Why do people teabag in games THEN lie about it ?

I had so many games where someone tea bags and it’s just motivation to beat them and crush their ego . I find it funny but there’s just one thing I don’t understand.

Why is it that when they tea bag and you say “ tea bagging huh ? Lol “ they always lie and say they weren’t doing it ?

It’s even in the replay of the match but it’s either “ I never tea bagged “ or “ my down button/key got stuck . Lmfao if it was stuck you’d be just ducking not duck stand duck stand 20 times per second .

Why not own up to it ? Lmfao

In battlefield 2142 you could crouch in the battle walker, which resulted in an instant kill to any soldier standing underneath.

So at least in that case, I imagine teabagging for free kills against people trying to shoot the underside vent weak points.

Sometimes in fighting games, the opponent may be buffering a super or a special that has a down down input.


I don't care either way, tbagging is playing mental games and trying to get the opponent to lose their cool and start making mistakes. Sportsmanlike? Probably not, but if it works and there are no rules against it, then who's gotta stop 'em?

Sometimes in CS2 if you're reloading and you've got some cover you can hide, But i never heard the term teabagging before.
