I too had suffered peer pressure, and now that I am working in an environment where I talk to customers directly over the phone with Property Management and stuff, I often get asked to hop on a Facetime call to go through the stuff that has to be done over a video call, it's kinda awkward having to explain everyone I don't have an iPhone so I can't facetime, the response I get all the time is a confused and mockingly "Why? That's weird! Just get an iPhone!"
For me it's not so much a big deal, and neither is for them, I just tell them I got an android so no Facetime and it works out just fine. It's only a bit annoying when they ask me to "Facetime so we can go through the list of things."
Like I said, I've been using Android for well over 12 years now, to the point I'm getting kinda sick of it. Maybe an iPhone would be a breath of fresh air, but the things you pointed out, kinda sucks.
I have no brand loyalty, I'm a grown ass man, I hate these big brands all the same, but don't deny I need their products in my life at this point, no loyalty, literally none. The only reason I stuck with Android and Samsung phones is because I fear transitioning to another ecosystem like the iOS, having to cancel subscriptions and having to re-sub, re-buy apps, re-adjust to OS and UI etc etc, maybe all the effort could be worth it, maybe not, but I saw your thread, on the perspective of someone that moved from Android to iPhone and regretted it, it caught my interest, an now I'm starting to second guess myself.
Listen to me well, you sad Apple product users. After using those pathetic products for seven to ten years, your brain will be so damaged that you will not even be able to cope in the world. No exaggeration, you will literally be dubbed "Apple trash" in the future (AT-ST from early Star Wars).
You will have 300% more anxiety, 2000% higher suicide rates, no other person will ever be able to stand you, and you will develop mental illnesses so hard that many nations will think to genocide you... one way or another.
You people are just in need of help.
Think about why ? really think about why.
I hope I can help even one of you. I believe in Karma.
That peer pressure will get you every time until you are strong willed. I have mates who wanted me to do this or do that and im like 'No' it doesn't benefit me in the short, med or long term. You fall out for short time but it's we men enough to understand.
I swear Apple has an aversion to putting in 'select all' in most of their apps. Yes I love close 400 tabs individually on my mother's phone. Or lets that that easy to press home circle button... and turn that ♥♥♥♥♥ into a black line that works half the time. Also lets make our images a goofy format. Or the lack of working scroll bars. I don't want to play pixel clicker, just stop hiding the scroll features you pricks. The gallary bar is a joke.
The main difference between iphones and samsungs now in my eyes. Samsung lets you do things in 3 presses or less. Apple loves to parade you around their UI.
And have you guess what half their icons mean.
