But general discussion on the internet has turned into /pol/ in recent years. Not entirely, there's still good discussion to be had, but its way more common than it used to be. I used to like /pol/ cause I could go there and talk ♥♥♥♥ when I felt like and then leave. Now you leave and it feels like you never left lol. I guess its just a reflection of culture in general.

I just ignore them, and open up the conversations I want to (at least on here, other socials may be a different story)
