Why follow Abrahamic faiths?

Are Western people in denial about how absolutely insane they are?

Jesus hated us. He called us gentiles, a bunch of dogs, unfit for anything but the crumbs that fall off the master's table. He didn't come to bring peace, but a sword from his Abba. He wants us all in Hell.

Muhammad hated us. He called us infidels, idolaters, and waged his jihad, his holy war against us. He didn't come for peace, but to force everyone to submit to the will of his Allah. He wants us all in Hell.

Why worship and follow, someone who hates you?
For the West, the choice is an easy one to make: Reject Abraham. Return to Pagan.

Those people either have beliefs that they're hiding from you, or they're both hot and cold, scampering over to whatever side's winning. The absolute worst type of person.

Maybe, but on the other hand atheism sounds like a lot of pissing and moaning on the internet and making sure everyone knows you're atheist. Also a lot of effort. It's like when you walk into a room of strangers, how do you know who is vegan or atheist?... give it about 30 seconds, they'll tell you.

As do I, but there needs to be a universal truth as a foundation, beforehand. Otherwise you'll get tangled up in false ideas. Ideas that have led to the deaths of millions, in vain, and unlike other ideas, these ones are still perfectly alive today.

If you follow the situation, you'll end up with communism. If you don't end up with communism, or some other ideal based on domination, you adhere to the Christian doctrine, only you don't believe in the religion itself, and therefore your ideas are very difficult to maintain.

"Don't hurt others" isn't compelling. You will never, even if you try your absolute best, ever get anybody to take you seriously ~ take that simplistic pothead-level ideology seriously.

see that's the thing, "do no harm" or "reduce harm" are simply bases, axioms of sorts
they're not fully fledged philosophies, but rather starting points

The vast majority of westerners don´t practice any religion outside social constructed norms (getting babtised, some marrying in church, funeral, so forth)
We call those culture Christians.

But even those are dying out (atleast in my country) the people believing in an actual god and following rules etc or praying is like abysmal, lower than ie. the Muslim population in the country (whom are low as well)

During the Age of Enlightenment, most people started to turn away from religion in many of northren and central/west europe. The east and south, still have some amount of believers that actually do follow doctrines, but even here the numbers have gone much down.

The way statistics count "religious" people is stupid, since it sometimes account people that don´t believe but are part of a national cultural approach morally and church wise.. but still secular.

I dare say that vast amount of Europeans are secular.

Power-structure. Who's at the top? Is it the state, do they define the rules? God? Lust?

When people say "Nobody," they don't mean nobody, it's just that they have some dystopian view of the world they don't care to even properly define.

And, well, I wouldn't call that a universal truth we can all get behind. Not even your own family could get behind that. We need to share some ideals in this world, or there's chaos.

Christianity? Well, there's a few problems with that. But I've answered my own question either way. I don't believe in nothing. I can bring ideas to the table, which are known to have brought people together towards a greater, divine love.
