Also, you can't exactly choose what you believe, because what's true is true regardless of what you would prefer to be true. Sometimes the truth ain't so pretty, and can sometimes even be described as the ugly truth. Most people seem to choose their religion at a time when they are young, impressionable and taught the oral and written traditions coming from people they trust. Mostly family members and neighbors. That is kind of what the words belief and faith mean. Taking information given to you by others for granted.
Something does not even have to be true in order for you to believe it, and similarly you can disbelieve the absolute truth. Just ask any child who has been blamed for something another child did.
They literally describe the same thing in different ways.
Gods reflect the biases, worldview, and knowledge of the groups that worship them. What a coincidence, huh?

No one know before birth. No one know after death. No one know god.
As usual... gaslighting and pure up propaganda... there's more then just 15:25 one needs to read the ~ENTIRE~ thing rather then just try to spin a lie..
" "But she came and knelt before him, saying 'Lord, help me.' He answered, 'It is not fair to take the children's food and throw it to the dogs.' She said, 'Yes, Lord, yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master's table.'
Then Jesus answered her, 'Woman, great is your faith! Let it be done for you as you wish.' And her daughter was healed instantly"
(Matthew 15:25-28)
He called her what he thought of her, unclean, unworthy, material, a hylic without a soul.
It doesn't matter how it ends, what mattered was what he thought of us. And what a sh*tty opinion of other peoples he had.
Why call yourselves followers of Christ when you're actually followers of Saul/Paul?
All Hail Christ Ahn Sahng-hongnim.
Prepare to be intrigued.
Ignoring any supernatural elements to them.
They served in ancient times a way of passing down knowledge and group bonding a must have for survival.
Stars had names and adventures about them so people could navigate.
Everything had a spirit / tale to it so we would learn to respect it and know what it is good for.
Mistletoe being a famous lesson.
It was also entertainment, imagine being around aroaring fire with everybody in head dresses they had spent much free time making and at the night of the big party you get a song / tale about an eagle taking flight and the actions going with it a sort of dance that catches on.
Religions are in theory what separated humans from animals, it gave our evolving brains something to think of beyond immediate survival an exercise as they say the brain is a muscle that must be exercised, this with cooked food helped grow our intellect.
