Pizza
Whats the best temperature to cook pizza at. I prefer 400 or 450 degrees because you can have it done in like 8 to 10 minutes. And still have heat left to throw some other stuff in there while the heat goes down from the oven cooling off. I personally hate where directions say heat the oven to 350 or something and wait 25 minutes to half an hour. Because that is just too long for pizza.

Red Baron is like a brick when it is frozen though.
And why it takes so long to bake. ;)
Well I cannot imagine speeding that up as it is not possible unless you have a drip pan to prevent a grease fire. But that pizza so frozen. That Pre heating is definitely necessary at 450. Cause It will be a soggy middle. And you wind up waiting like 45 minutes maybe. And ignore what people say about putting a deep dish pizza in a toaster oven. They just suck. You can definitely do it. You just have to pre heat the damn thing. And cook it on the convectional setting. Not bake.

You really want to blast a pizza as much as you can, that's why industrial pizza ovens are so hot.

When I make pizza at home most of the time I build it on a silicone mat, so 480(F) is the maximum since that's the material's limitation. Most home ovens can only do about 500 anyway, so that's a good enough reach imo.
But how do you clean the oven if it has a self cleaning feature. Those go to like 500 degrees to clean. I personally just spray vinegar and use a scouring pad. Since I hate the chemical smell.

Oh, they go well above 500 to self clean afaik, but most won't let you set it there.

I *hate* degreaser so yeah I also avoid it if possible, vinegar and lemon solution will do most stuff.

I use my countertop air fryer oven rather than my full-sized oven for almost everything though, so cleanup is super easy by comparison.

I had a frozen pizza last night. I put it in the fan oven at 200°C for 12 minutes and then turned on the grill for a further 3 mins to get it nice and crisp but not burnt. It turned out pretty nice.

That's what a pizza stone is for. You need a pizza stone. It only cost like 30 bucks. And they come in different sizes. I last had a pizza stone. And it fell on the floor sad day. Also pizza stones will keep your pizza nice warm and cheesy for a long time. Which I why I always gas them at 400 or above.

I make my own pizza using naan bread for the crust. It is delicious.

375°F for 21 minutes is ideal I've found.

That sounds about right for a thin crust. I made pizza since 6 years old. So I would say that's good if you pre heat. But you can pre heat at 375 and turn the oven up to 400 and it will take 11 minutes. Just make sure you use a pizza stone other wise it won't work.

A pizza stone does not cost $30.
