Has he now?
Which time travellers?
Michael Moorcock wrote a book called Behold the man.
It is exactly about a guy going back in time to see Jesus.
That post of yours has made me want to reread it again :)
what date was it disproved I watched a documentary that showed part of it was restored but that it still had the stuff from the time of Jesus when they used more modern technology to really examine it.
- I don't know if it was of Jesus but going by the time it was carbon dated and whatever fancy voodoo tech they used.
So easy to find. Why I have to answer?
In 1988, radiocarbon dating by three different laboratories established that the shroud's linen material was produced between the years 1260 and 1390

BTW The famous glass skulls from South America are also fake.
I reiterate:
I'm sure it's totally just a conspiracy where all these completely separate people made up Jesus and said the same things about him. There's just no way there was a jewish preacher named Yeshua from Nazareth who was executed by Romans.
The documentary I saw was in the late 90s.
Should be interesting why they did not include that in the wiki article when i get to reading it.
they found the Shroud had been damaged and restored and that is why there was restoration of the later date to it.
I ask for you to provide informative source because its a discussion to me not an ego i am right you are wrong thing that people mistake for discussions in the modern world of internet.
No. Not a conspiracy. Just an early form of meme. A story that made the rounds because it was interesting. Just like we talk about bigfoot now.
And now your post got me interested enough to look up the book and see if I could snag a copy.
I don't mind a spoiler but in the book does Jesus know its a time traveller?
No...and then yes.
As Obi would say from a certain point of view.
OK spoil me baby I don't mind
How is it no and yes? I mean you can use spoiler tags if you have to
First of all there was no historical Jesus until people went looking for him. One of whom impersonated him to try and draw him out, and also wound up becoming every single person mentioned as crucified along with him. Thief, beggar, etc.
Then another came along and wound up fulfilling the role because they felt it was important, genuinely meaningful even.
He used to hang out with the harlots and tax collectors. Where would Jesus find those in the present day?
LA.
