Rimworld has been banned in Australia. Twice now.

I think the first mass banned video game was Postal.

thats a leading question, banned games are not necessarily "bad", all that is needed is sufficient hearsay and political anxiety for either politicians or local stores themselves to "act" out of fear of a negative public response.

so if a game attracts any amount of public controversy, even by association (such as having been played by someone involved in some high-profile controversy) it can be enough for someone "banning" it out of fear of being negatively implied in turn.

it is easier to just pull it from the shelves so to speak, rather than having to deal with possible media fallout later if it turns out you "failed to act".
