Chances are people also have clothes they hardly wear or that shoe or cable they hardly use.
I got some games on my profile I have barely touched because one day I will be playing them.
I have games on consoles hardly played but there is that odd afternoon I might think yep could have a go on that today.

The reason why you should only buy games that you play, fit your style, example: strategy, than look at many other aspects.
Gaming purpose is to entertain yet wasting money on games that have no entertainment value is not entertaining. Even if is one Dollar/ Euro/ Yuan/Rubble is still money.
this is like the most basic trait of steam users have
along with:
owning gmod
ownign half life
having at least 1-2k hours in tf2, dota2, or CSGO
having 100+ games

guess who gonna play it anyway....? ahh yes I got it when it was free
1. Those who like to play video games
2. Those who’re very passionate about spending money.
Mind your own bisiness
Also hiding behind a private profile and roaming around on other people’s profiles to complain about their unplayed games is kinda weird.
Show us what you’ve got.
Nothing wrong with that. It is their money and not my problem.
Exactly.
I buy games to donate my money to gaben
We're different
Around 100 is plenty to accumulate over time. I'm almost in my mid 30's and I remember before Steam existed when you had to buy physical copies of games. Also there was less choice than there is now, though still enough. Physically having a game in your hands means you have to consider if you really do want it and will play it. Rather than just impulsively just clicking a button to pay, especially if you pay with money rather than a card in a shop. The reason for it is a combination of compulsive spending and casuals who just want to dip their toe in everything without actual commitment.
It really bothers me as well when I see really high percentages of people (via achievements) who have stopped playing after the first few levels or even after the first cut scene in some cases of a game, let alone actually completing it. No attention span at all. In the past you had to really commit and casuals didn't flood the gaming world like they do now. I don't care if I sound old, its a fair trade off for being a 90's kid.
