Because it's not about having a discussion about cultural issues, if any. It's about purposefully forcing an interpretation or worldview on a reluctant public.

It also continues to perpetuate near-mythological tropes to justify itself with goals that are simply self-serving,. They're not responding to a cultural need, they're responding to the ideas of there being a need, itself.

For much of it, there's no sense to it. For the people, many of them seem to feel that they are part of a movement that is as culturally significant as the movement's in the 1960's in the US. And, therein lies the most important issue, IMO - They think they're being heroes, when all they have done is invented something to feel heroic about.

Regardless, they'll force their worldview and insist their interpretation must be adopted by all or "you are wrong and I am going to show you that you are wrong by putting terrible actors in movies while forcing your little boy wear a dress to school."

Or maybe those people see it for what it ACTUALLY is instead of just what it says on the tin, i.e. the sales pitch. "Diversity! Inclusivity! Equality!" How can you be against that, right? But in reality, which is to say in practice, all of those things mean something completely different. Only naive, shortsighted people think that it is "a good thing".

Because it destroys countries by prioritizing feelings over reality. And eventually ends in communism or a system just as bad. It destroys the family, it biases the criminal and family courts, it hurts the job and dating market, it rips birth rates, and so on.

Everyone is equal, everyone is the same, free money, is the sugar it uses.


Some groups love it, because they are about not conforming to a country, so they make a country celebrate diversity so they never have to conform to it.

It is, in many ways. I've seen teens on reddit asking questions because they became confused about their gender for example. And the woke will even encourage this and say that it is a good thing.
