The 90s were so much better and superior in every thinkable aspect, except technological advancements obviously.

I will never change my mind about this and I don't care what the youth thinks, they haven't lived in that time, I have.

The 90s wers so much more " natural " and " normal " than what we have today. People were a lot less hostile and a lot less toxic and society was not as divided as it is today nor were men and women so divided even though we also had feminism back then.

Love the 90s and if I could " re-live " this period over and over again, I would do so for all ethernity.

Loved my childhood and I talked to people who were adults back then, all of them confirmed that the 90s were THE GOLDEN AGE man.

Any fellow 90s peeps around ? Let be nostalgic.

Thats right about the time our shining example of an educational system declined quickly. I hope you're talking about the early 90's when people rather than evil television and videogames were responsible for their actions and by the way everyone gets participation trophies even if they suck at what they've been sent to school to learn.
The 90's was when everything went downhill. The 80's was superior.

Yeah the 90s were a lot better in many ways.
Frankly we've kind of been going downhill pretty much every decade for the past 60 years. Maybe even longer if you consider how the founding of the FED is what actually screwed us and is part of the reason why things are like they are today financially.

1991 to 1994 were when the hepatitis B vaccine was widely introduced, including at birth. They were piled on after that point because liability was eliminated in the late 80's.

I'm Gen Y so I'm bias. 90s was a lot less complicated with stability in lifestyle and security and it was a more livable period. Today has a lot more conveniences and technology (in all aspects such as engineering, medical and IT) but there are trade offs with struggles for new generations.

it does not matter what topic or theme from that time you look at, the 90s were superior and better in every aspect, expect for technological advancement as obviously 30+ years later we have more advanced technology, so that is never to take into consideration anyway.

Literally every individual I met in my entire life who lived in the 90s as either an adult, or child, said it was THE golden age.

The only people I have met who say " nope " are people who were adults during the 70s. Apparently the 70s were amazing and I believe them.

I am going to go further and say that the early 2000s, so basically 2000 until 2008 ish, were also great times.

But everything we have today is just complete trash and I hate every minute of it. I hate the way society functions, I hate how people behave in public, I hate how everyone constantly just looks at their phone, I hate the politics, I hate literally everything about this time.

I even miss the old chunky computers and games from back then as well as the lack of " mobile technology ".

But most importantly do I miss the down to earth people and the way more rational politicians back in my country during the 90s. Everything was less complicated and people so much more...human ?

90s folks know what I am on about.

And no, I am not writing on my smartphone either ? lol. I am on my computer right now and haven't even got the steam app installed on my phone (how sad would one have to be to check in on this bloody forum even while outside).

Phones are way more used than computers these days so is most likely he typed that from his smartphone...
And even if he did not typed from a phone, pretty sure he did not use a computer from the 1990s to type all he said even though he CLAIMS he wants to "re-live the 1990s"...

This is why I cannot take seriously all these nostalgic ppl who claim stuff "i miss the 90s" and most importantly stuff like "i want to re-live the 90s", because are not actually willing to sacrifice all the tech advancement and improvements we got over the years despite the fact they WANT AND CLAIM they want to re-live an era where none of these advancements existed... If someone says that they want to "re-live the 90s" but uses the actual technology then that person should not even say that...

100% sure if all these ppl who want to re-live the 1990s had a time machine that allows them to go back to the 1990s, almost all of them would definetly go back to 2024...

As ppl usually forget, nostalgia is not real... It only remember the good stuff, if these ppl went back in time and live the life again, they would notice that maybe it was not that great (with some few exceptions obviously...)

And the fact that this posts even exists proves that all these nostalgic ppl definetly would not be to live without all the advacements we got anymore...
