Are half of Twitch female streamers gamer girls or simply cam girls?
I mean, I've always been of the impression that if you truly are a gamer girl, then your streams wouldn't be about YOU but the game you're playing. Case in point, most male streams that are meant to focus on the game will have the male streamer's head in the corner of the screen, with most of the focus being on the actual game. As we all know, famous female streamers like Amouranth, Alinity, Pokimane etc. tend to have their streams mostly focused on THEM.

I'm not saying the average gamer chick needs to be dressed in a sweater and sweatpants just so people won't pay attention to her body. But generally speaking, people tend to dress comfortably for what they do. That means more practical clothes that aren't bringing attention to their bodies. If you're a girl who just happens to be in a tanktop and shorts in your room because it's hot, and it's not your fault if your cleavage shows, that's fine.

Chances are, your stream is still about the game rather than you. I mean, my cousin's a streamer (Allenownz) but his has always been about Fortnite or other popular game streams. I imagine most male streamers are the same way. Popular female streamers I've seen that I could say were at least less focused on them and more on their content were JustAMinx and SweetAnita.

The "more popular" ones just seem like glorified cam girls who use Twitch to direct people to their OFs. Honestly, their wouldn't be half as much criticism if they were simply honest about it and were cam girls through and through instead of pretending to be gamers. I don't have a problem with female gamers. Better it were if that meant Twitch was more about gaming.

Cam girls.
Mostly cam girls that do 'Just chatting' or anything else. Sometimes play a game, or play Warzone/COD cause it's easy and popular.
A majority of them do not care for their stream watchers, only the cash. Pokimane has been hit with tons of backlash over the last two months for basically opening a company that sells cookies in the same marketing design Lays potatos chips does.

50% Hot Air
20% Insulting the Homeless and Poor
10% IQ of how to run of business below that of a deer in headlights
and the last 20% goes to Pokimane being such a basic default female that all I know of her is that she's a white, half-dressed, smart-mouth, valley girl who has no redeeming qualities beyond being a good flotation device if stranded out at sea, all that plastic will go to some good use.

Dunno but I heard Twitch is biased in favor of seductive female streamers and have double standards for them. So I don't use Twitch.
They do. Basically if you hear of anything treading from there, its the result of a Twitch streamer who also has an onlyfans and sells their soul so hard that it gets carpet burns when ridding cash flows.

No I will not apologize for phrasing it like that.

I feel like they appear to be more than they really are because of how much interaction they get. They'll just get pushed up above the normal girl streamers making it appear like its mostly their streams and not non sexual ones. Really wish the trend would die out even though I dont really ♥♥♥♥ with streams anyway more of a youtube guy
They’re the OnlyFans wannabes.
I don't watch twitch but I respect the grind.
Ah... now I understand why I've occasionally gotten accused of wanting attention and being a camgirl. They assume I'm must be like these girls online. Its more common then than I thought. Quite funny really because I have never filmed myself and uploaded it anywhere. Its bizarre to even consider that. I'm in my 30s and have always been into games since I was a kid. Girls that were into games were unheard of and we were just considered uncool nerds and tomboys

Its weird as hell that girls now are pretending to be into gaming to get attention. If they're hot, surely they could just get attention all the time anyway? They sound very narcissistic if they're demanding even more. Guess its just to promote their OnlyFans.

This really doesn't represent real girls and women into games. Why film yourself, if not for attention?

Thats the only reason they actually do it, attention. Its why the meme "Fatherless child" was invented as a majority of the Streamers from Twitch that sell their bodies look like they grew up with literally no idea of what self control is and decided that their mothers act of "Selling themselves on the Street" which popped them out was justified to try on Twitch.

Now that would indeed be rude of me to say thats not the situation but no, there are people who have gone and faked their deaths and disabilities on the platform, but the worst one is the girl who displayed her bare chest and got the banhammer and her feral fanbase came to her "Liberation" and thus her unban resulted in the birth of hot tub live streams.

Yes, that entire section of twitch exists because some bimbo decided break the rules of the platform and go nude live.
attention seeking cam girls only there for money.

thats the sad truth and it makes all female streamers look trashy because a small amount of actual gamers and not attention seeking fake gamer cash grabbers.
Hey they wouldn't exist if not for an audience into them. Can't blame them for easy money. :aushrug:
Actually the same can be said to so many men.

They can't play the game well, yet they want to stream. They belonged to the same group. So many frag videos made, it's all nothing but teammate sacrifice and trade. Zero bait on enemy and zero strategy to break enemy's offense, all easy walk and shot after teammates die. At least the female streamers dress up to be presentable.

Oh I don't blame them, but there's a line between farming that rich crop for money, and then being a total............well I won't swear, but being a total Pokimane-level blockhead and letting your ego nuke both the company you work with, several sponsors and even half your aundience because one can't run their mouth without go "LIKE TOTALLY YOUR FAULT! UGH NO TOTALLY!" and whatever mouthfuls of garbage they can manage to get out past the **** in their mouth.

Wow, that's really sad. Also annoying for those of us who just genuinely like games because then we get associated with them. If women are really hot, then good for them. They can go and have a career modelling or acting or something, but actually lying about what you're into for attention is scummy. It just tarnishes the rest of us and makes men assume we're all fakes who want attention. Also it makes men even more likely to prey on us online rather than see us as a potential friend, and its already bad enough without that added association with those girls.
